Hailed as “a pianist with a brain…a strategist who has the distant grasp” (Alan Walker), Jonathan Levin is quickly establishing a reputation as an enthusiastic and compelling advocate for classical music, creating integrated programs that garner closer connections with audiences through illuminating discussion and example.

Born in Clayton, North Carolina, Jonathan made his debut with the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra when he was fifteen.  Since then, he has become an increasingly sought after recitalist and soloist, performing throughout the country in concert halls, museums, universities, schools, libraries and private salons.  Jonathan was recently chosen to present a special performance of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue at the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Russia as a part of the 4th Melody of Generations Festival with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra of the Russian Federation.  Other recent engagements have included performances at Carnegie Hall, the Dame Myra Hess Concert Series at the Chicago Cultural Center, The Kennedy Center, The DiMenna Center for Classical Music, Steinway Hall, New York Society for Ethical Culture, Brooklyn Public Library, the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland and the Kosciusko Foundation in Manhattan.  He has performed with the Durham Symphony, the North Carolina Symphony and as a returning guest artist with the Raleigh Symphony as well as appearances at the NC Governor’s Mansion and the NC Museum of Art.

"Mr. Levin emerged as much more than a pianist, but a musician with a fine mind and enormously promising creative energy...showmanship, intelligence, more than ample pianism, and sensitive musicality are all wrapped up in one package in this young artist..."

- Rorianne Schrade, New York Concert Review

Relatively new to Germany, the Allgemeine Zeitung has already heralded American tenor, Tyrone Chambers as “a real asset, due to his artfully melting tenor.” His first appearances in Germany were singing Sporting Life in the Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess in such venues as Dresden’s Semperoper and the Hamburg State Opera in the summer of 2016. Mr. Chambers made his Swiss debut the following year, singing the role of Joe, a gambler, in Gerswhin’s Blue Monday, and more recently, at Opernakademie Schloss Henfenfeld, where he performed Belmonte in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, and the eponymous role in La Clemenza di Tito.

This language enthusiast holds music degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Morehouse College. Post-graduate work includes Gastone in Latraviata (Preludeto Performance), Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus (Opera in the Ozarks), and Laërtes in Mignon (Music Academy of the West). The Süddeutsche Zeitung praised him for having a “splendid voice, fit for both big stages worldwide, and important roles at home. [The voice was] fine in the heights, elegantly gliding on the tempi waves and in forte with powerful emotion.”

Last year, the Mainz resident also performed Bach’s St. Matthew Passion and Brahms’ Liebeslieder Walzer at Schloss Henfenfeld. After a very successful and acclaimed European-Scandinavian tour of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Musical Gala in Winter 2019, Mr. Chambers is eager to start his next endeavors. He keeps a regular solo recital and concert calendar, and is looking forward to several American Portraits concerts with colleague and pianist Jonathan Levin as well as international tours as the newest member of Vox Fortura. Recently for his first Brazilian appearance in August 2019, Mr. Chambers presented a solo recital called "Seréstas, Spirituals, and Song." In the 2019-2020 season, Mr. Chambers appeared in several concerts with Opera et Cetera, Papageno Musiktheater in Frankfurt, productions of Carmen and Die Zauberflöte with New Orleans Opera Association, and as Russell Davenport i n Dan Shore’s Freedom Ride during its Chicago Opera Theater world premiere.
